NY & VT Trip Day #4

Today was primarily a travel day, leaving Plattsburgh and going north along Lake Champlain and crossing into Vermont via the bridge in Rouses Point, NY. We then made our way down the lake on the VT side arriving in Burlington, VT in the early afternoon. These photos are from the Waterfront Park in Burlington.
We then walked along Church Street Marketplace and this is a photo of Burlington City Hall.
Church Street Marketplace is pedestrian only traffic and lined by retail and restaurants. In talking with some of our family and locals, this area is not what it used to be, which is rather unfortunate. There is a significant homeless population and the smell of marijuana is prominent as you walk down the street.
