A Day On The Farm

Our Division Chair invited everyone from the OB/MFM and CNM Divisions to her family’s farm for a fun-filled day of cider making, goat chasing and general camaraderie.

The is the cider press and we really enjoyed getting the opportunity to give it a try. It is a brilliant contraption and works amazingly well.

The children enjoyed feeding the goats some apples; and the goats seemed to really enjoy it too.

Of all the goats, this was Lisa’s favorite.

These chickens move at blistering speed, so it gave my new X-H2S a good chance to show its stuff when it comes to bird-eye tracking. I think it did a rather respectable job overall.

These are the apple trees which provided the apples for the cider press. The cider was as good as any we have ever had, and it doesn’t get any fresher!

They use these grapes to make homemade wine and we tasted the sangria made from the wine. So impressed with the entire process.
