The view from the I-90 Chamberlain rest area. This has to be one of the best interstate rest areas ever, and if you are ever traveling I-90 through Chamberlain it is a must-see.

Another view from the Chamberlain rest area. This one is looking out over the Missouri River. The train bridge is on the left and I-90 is on the right. To get this view you need to walk the trail to the overlook. It is definitely worth the few extra minutes.

Each South Dakota rest area on I-90 has one of these art formations. We think they are teepees as a nod to the Native American heritage of the area.

For hundreds of miles on I-90 there are billboards advertising Wall Drug. It is an iconic piece of Americana and worth a stop if for no other reason than to say you have been there once. It started as a drug store and is now a collection of stores and silly attractions that serves as a tourist trap. Spend a few minutes here and it will be something you will never forget.

This is the main entrance to Wall Drug on Main Street. However, there are numerous shops all along both sides of Main Street.
