If you want a challenging hike you can scale the hill from Bush Street up to Memorial Park.

If climbing the hill isn’t your plan, you can drive up to the hilltop park from East 7th Street. Here, you can get panoramic views of downtown Red Wing and into Wisconsin toward the east. In the far distance on the right of the image, you can see the two silos of the Prairie Island Nuclear Power Plant.

Looking from Memorial Park toward Barn Bluff Regional Park. There are trails atop that bluff as well. In the distance, on the right, is the state of Wisconsin.

The old water tower. In addition to scenic overlooks, Memorial Park also has a few picnic tables and a disc golf course. There are additional hiking trails once atop the hill.
