Many are now left to decay, but some are repurposed to serve other functions. In this case, the Glasgow School is now the Glasgow-Hardies Creek Community Center. The moose was made in Sparta, WI, and was originally brown in color. Mr. Peterson won the moose in a dice game and placed it on his car lot. Mr. Peterson died in a motorcycle accident in the spring of 1974.
