Chippewa Falls, WI

Today we took a trip back to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. We have been here several times before and have photos from those trips; but this time, I wanted to do some B&W images.
We stayed entirely in the Irvine Park region on this trip. These are some images from the Glen Lock Lake area and the small river that leads from Glen Lock Lake into the Chippewa River.
Some ducks and geese out for a swim in the pond at Irvine Park Zoo. The water was covered with a green algae but it didn’t seem to bother them and didn’t even stick to their feathers.
The Glen Lock Dam from below.
Using a 6-stop ND filter allowed me to get this nice look to the running water.
Glen Lock Lake from the pedestrian walkway and boat launch.
Above the dam.
This is a very nicely built and rather substantial walkway and bridge over the river.
This bridge is rather substantial and rather impressive when you consider it is just for pedestrian traffic.
This unique building in residential Chippewa Falls, WI is now home to a storage company. However, it is outfitted with some great old antiques consistent with a historical garage. I’ve photographed it previously, but this really needed to be done in B&W.
